At the end of Sept with the help and motivation from my lovely wife, I decided it was time to work at improving my health. Through the last 6 months starting with just step counting with over 1.65 million steps at about 825 miles. I later started to run again beginning in Mid December now totaling around 127 miles since Dec 19th, each month getting progressively more over the last month. I have never been so proud of myself as I am just about 60lbs lost over these last 6 months and my mile time has come from an average of over 13min to 9min regularly now with a best of 8:38. I have also gone from an over 40min 5k down to 30:43 at my best.
Another day, another race. Had such a fun day racing at @glenhelenraceway Track is always great and @american_retrocross always puts on a great day of racing.
